But the robots are already here, and have been for quite a while. Considering that RPA started with screen scraping 15 years ago, what explains the recent surge of interest? We’ve been using RPA-type technologies for years; we just never called them RPA. Our latest advancements, in fact, might well be thought of as RPA 3.0.
