Microsoft® has just announced a private preview of a new Microsoft® 365 cloud-based print infrastructure which removes the need for local print servers. Microsoft Universal Print is aimed at commercial and educational clients who are moving to the cloud with Microsoft 365 and need a printing process that is simple to use in order to reduce the IT workload.

NT-ware has been working closely with Canon Inc. and Microsoft for several months to ensure that both uniFLOW and uniFLOW Online will be supported by Microsoft Universal Print. The objective is to enable businesses to maximize the benefits of Microsoft Universal Print service across their entire infrastructure.

“The way people work is changing as cloud computing and technology continue to expand and evolve, driving digital transformation. Canon Inc.’s imageRUNNER ADVANCE and Office Printers provide the flexibility and scalability to address diverse workplace needs. In partnership with Microsoft, we are committed to supporting Universal Print and support our customers in their journey to the digital workplace.” – Isamu Sato, Senior General Manager, Office Imaging Products Operations, Canon Inc.
