Town Business System’s Vice President, Michael Rezek has been selected to participate in the Goldman Sachs 10000 Small Business Program.  Michael will be attending the program in the spring for Online and On-Campus business education programs at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

The program was started in 2009 to help entrepreneurs gain access to education, capital, and business support services that will help economic growth in local communities across the nation.   150 business owners from all over the country will be taught business management skills, negotiation, marketing, employee management; tools and support to help develop a strategic business growth plan that will take their company to the next level.

Small business owners must go through a rigorous application process to be selected for the program, which includes presenting a business plan and a proven desire for growth.  Other qualifications include being in operation for at least two years, having four or more employees and meeting a minimum level of business revenues in the most recent fiscal year.  Once this has been met, the top 150 business owners for the 12-week program that is structured like an Executive MBA course.
