BTA member dealers receive 2-for-1 registration  

 Kansas City, MO — The Business Technology Association (BTA) will hold its first event of 2020, Spring Break, hosted by BTA Southeast, March 13-14, at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort in Orlando, Florida. The hotel discount deadline is Feb. 17, so register today and reserve your room to get the best rate. 

Open to office technology dealers from across the country, the event will feature: a keynote address by Judson Laipply, a motivational speaker and dancer who created the “Evolution of Dance” viral video, which has more than a billion views on YouTube; six additional educational sessions led by industry leaders; time to network with peers and exhibiting sponsors, including during a welcoming reception and breaks; and a ticket to the Disney theme park of your choice: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom.

Spring Break will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 13, with welcoming comments and the first educational session, “Selling From the Heart — How Your Authentic Self Sells You,” led by Larry Levine of Selling From the Heart. A break, giving attendees time to visit with peers and exhibiting sponsors, will follow. Breaks between sessions on both days will also give attendees additional networking time. The keynote address, “Lead Your Evolution,” presented by Laipply, will follow the break. During the keynote, you will learn how to embrace the greatest power you have to influence your own life, as well as how to lead your organization’s evolution, remain focused on what you have control over, increase your productivity and decrease your stress.

Lunch will follow the keynote from noon to 1:30 p.m. Following lunch, three more educational sessions will be held: “Business Social Media in 2020: What’s Changing How You Can Use It to Grow Your Dealership,” led by Darrell Amy of Convergo; “Purposeful Prospecting & Your Sales Legacy,” led by Dale Dupree of The Sales Rebellion; and “Preparing for the Future,” led by Ken Edmonds of Kedmonds.biz. Following the educational sessions, a welcoming reception will take place until 7 p.m., wrapping up the first day.

The second day of Spring Break will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, with breakfast, followed by opening comments and the final educational sessions: “Things to Consider When Creating a Flat-Rate Billing Program,” led by Kim Louden of GreatAmerica Financial Services Corp.; and “Recruitment & Selection,” led by Larry Coco of Coco Training & Coaching LLC. Closing comments and prize drawings will wrap up the educational portion of the event from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Starting at 2 p.m., attendees will spend the afternoon and evening at the Disney theme parks of their choice.
