The Technology Assurance Group (TAG) attended the recent IT Nation Connect conference held in Orlando FL Nov. 10 – 12. Over 3,600 IT enthusiasts from all over the country attended this annual event to learn and have some fun and TAG was one of companies running an educational breakout session.

It was a busy run as TAG had just held their user conference in Dallas earlier that week. Now, Tim Schatz gave a presentation explaining how they help MSPs achieve profitability.

The short of it is, you just need to charge more. But how much more? What should you really be charging your customers? How does your MSP compare to others? Where can you find more money in your current customer base? These are a few of the topics Tim touched on during this session.

TAG also gets into MSP technician productivity and what “good” looks like. How do you measure it and how do you compare to your peers?

The information seemed hugely valuable. TAG has been a regular at recent BTA events, but to see them presenting a conference of this size to a full room where no one left before the end showed me they have their finger on the pulse of this community.
