By Jake Slawetsky – The IT Nation Connect 2024 conference, held from November 6th to 8th at the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel in Orlando, Florida, brought together over 7,000 professionals including many from the managed services and office equipment sectors. Notably, attendance from office equipment resellers almost doubled from the previous year, with nearly 100 dealers attending.

The conference began with a dedicated five-hour session tailored for office equipment resellers. This session featured presentations from industry leaders, including Jennie Fisher of GreatAmerica Financial Services, Dave Moorman and the Novatech team, Kate Kingston, Gary Lavin of CEO Juice, and Peter Kujawa of ConnectWise. Their discussions provided valuable perspectives on managed services and the role of office equipment resellers within it.

The exhibit floor was another standout feature of the event, with over 160 vendors showcasing the latest technologies, solutions, and services. Attendees had the opportunity to explore offerings from companies across the managed services spectrum, engage in live product demonstrations, and discuss tailored solutions for their businesses.

GreatAmerica showcased their booth, drawing attention with their tailored leasing solutions for office equipment resellers. TD Synnex had their own booth as well, which attracted a lot of interest and highlighted their offerings for office equipment dealers and managed service providers.

CEO Juice had a strong presence at the booth they shared with ECI Software Solutions , showing their unique value and collaboration with ECI to deliver powerful analytics and automation tools for resellers.

The agenda featured over 130 breakout sessions, covering a wide variety of topics pertinent to the industry. To cap off Day 2, attendees were treated to an exclusive evening at Universal Studios, opened specifically for IT Nation Connect guests. With free food, drinks, a DJ, and no lines for rides, the night was a great time and people had a lot of fun networking and enjoying the park.

An exciting part of the conference was the keynote presenter, legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk. Sharing his journey from a passionate young skateboarder to an internationally renowned icon. Hawk even brought a ConnectWise exec on stage who did an epic kickflip to really get the crowd fired up.

Given the substantial growth in participation and the wealth of information shared, office equipment dealers who did not attend this year are strongly encouraged to consider sending representatives to future IT Nation Connect conferences. The event serves as a pivotal platform for networking, learning, and staying abreast of industry trends, making it an invaluable experience for those aiming to excel in the managed services arena.

The IT Nation Connect 2024 conference successfully combined education, and networking. From targeted sessions for office equipment resellers to the expansive exhibit floor, the event provided a comprehensive look at the tools, trends, and partnerships shaping the future of managed services. With its rich agenda and focus on collaboration, IT Nation Connect continues to be a cornerstone for professionals seeking to grow and excel in this dynamic industry.
