DataMaster evaluated the Toshiba e-Studio 5005AC. Here are some of the highlights that lead to the certificate.
- High-performance machine: good results in terms of productivity, simultaneous scanning and printing; very short RIP time
- Feeder / scan functions among the fastest on the market (up to 240 ipm)
- Large and easy-to-use touch-screen interface. Neat feature for saving the setup of complex jobs (scan, copy) in a single click
- Scan: preview function + thumbnail scrolling allow easy and efficient sorting of documents scanned on the machine
- Busy office test: receiving 15 varied print jobs at once has almost no impact on productivity
- Copy interface is easy to use: 8 strokes for an A4R booklet
- Toner cartridge capacity is very good
Option in copy and print modes to print onto the back of a (rear) cover page during single-sided printing.
DataMaster‘s analyses and assessments are completely independent. Five-star certificates are extremely rare. To attain five stars, not only must the equipment under test demonstrate an excellent performance in most categories, but must have no major weakness in any of the evaluation criteria.
4.5 stars is still an excellent evaluation.
