Veterans Day is a day of remembrance, respect, and gratitude for the sacrifices made by those who have defended our nation’s freedom and values. But beyond the parades, ceremonies, and flags that adorn our cities and towns, it’s important to reflect on what Veterans Day truly represents.
As the spouse of a military veteran, I can say that our veterans and service members deeply appreciate the support they receive from family, friends, and their communities. Veterans Day also offers a chance to recognize everyone who actively supports those who have served and who encourages others to strengthen that support for our veterans.
