The Friends of Golf (FOG) tournament at Bel-Air Country Club once again united leaders from the world of golf with the office equipment industry to support young golfers. FOG, a non-profit founded in 1979, has raised over $10 million to help student athletes gain access to golf, promoting character and sportsmanship.
Konica Minolta, the event’s title sponsor, led the way with five groups of dealers and executives, including President/CEO Sam Errigo and SVP Michael Mathe, representing the company.
Their participation underscored their commitment to both the office equipment industry and charitable causes.
PEAC Solutions, a leasing partner of Konica Minolta, also took part, sponsoring three foursomes and bringing key dealers to the event. Bryan Chandler, VP of PEAC, attended, further strengthening ties with their partners while supporting FOG’s mission.
Together, Konica Minolta and PEAC Solutions contributed to make the event a success, helping student athletes achieve their dreams.
The day started with golf and ended with a banquet dinner where a live auction raised tens of thousands of dollars for FOG.
Legendary golfer and analyst Dottie Pepper was honored after dinner and her good friend Jim Nantz interviewed her to finish the evening.
Konica Minolta has been doing this event for years and it seems there isn’t a good charity they’re not willing to get behind. They are truly an elite company in this industry when it comes to philanthropy and charitable events.
