The Unsung Heroes of the Patriot Pack Ride: Our Support Vehicles
Every year, the Patriot Pack relies on more than just motorcycles to make the trip possible. The support vehicles — the scout car and the RV — play a critical role in keeping the riders safe, organized, and hydrated.
FP Mailing Scout Vehicle
Once again, FP Mailing Solutions provided the scout vehicle, driven by Jim D’Emidio. Riding along with him were Bob “the Judge” Goldberg and Alex Cribby. Their job was to stay out ahead of the Pack, checking routes, flagging traffic, and marking off parking areas at each stop. It’s the kind of behind-the-scenes work that doesn’t get a lot of attention but makes every stop run smoothly.
The Mars Rover
The Mars Rover, our RV sponsored by Mars International, was also on the road from the very beginning. Generously provided by Raj Thadani, the Rover carried anywhere from five to eight of us at a time and became a rolling base of operations. It kept the group stocked with food, water, and other essentials — and at every stop, the crew handed out hydration and snacks to the riders.
Year after year, the Rover has been a fixture of the Pack. It’s a lifeline on long stretches of road and a big reason why the ride works as well as it does.
Support That Makes the Ride Possible
While the motorcycles draw the eye, the Patriot Pack wouldn’t get far without these support vehicles. Thanks to FP Mailing Solutions, Jim D’Emidio, Bob Goldberg, Alex Cribby, and Mars International for keeping the Pack moving and making sure the mission continues.
