We received the following communication from Kyocera regarding their upcoming dealer conference:

With the rise in COVID-19 cases throughout many parts of the country, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Dealer Conference, which was due to be held at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas between November 7-9.

The rise in case numbers, together with the complication of new variants, have hindered our ability to deliver an event that is fitting for the importance and stature of this occasion. Moreover, CDC recommendations for health checks and social distancing were certain to infringe on the overall experience of this gathering.

While this was naturally a disappointing decision to have to make, the safety and wellbeing of our people – including each and every dealer partner and analyst – comes first. After speaking with those invited, we felt that this was the best decision to make. It is important for Kyocera to play its part in halting the spread of the virus and protecting everyone involved in the event. This is precisely what we are doing by making this decision.

“We are truly disappointed that we have been forced to postpone our Dealer Conference, but we do so knowing that it is the right thing to do. We have a responsibility to keep our people safe,” said Oscar Sanchez, President and CEO, Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc.

We will be rescheduling the event for another time, when we are able to gather and meet each other face to face in a safe and secure way. I am as optimistic and determined as ever, and we are very excited to share with you all the things we have been working on when the conference takes place.”

We are currently working to reschedule the event, and we will provide you with additional information in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, it is vital that you and your loved ones continue to take all the necessary precautions to stay safe.

Kind regards,

Jose Estebanez, VP Corporate Marketing Group
