Strengthening Sales in the U.S. Market Utilizing Major Local Distributors

September 10, 2024

Fujifilm Business Innovation Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Naoki Hama) announced it will begin sales of the “Apeos” series of office digital color multifunction devices in the U.S. starting in October, leveraging major local distributors. Additionally, the “Revoria Press” series of production printers will also be sold through the same distributors, enhancing sales in both the office and production fields in the U.S. market.

Since April 2021, the company has expanded its sales under the Fujifilm brand, which were previously limited to the Asia-Pacific region, to a broader international market. Currently, digital color multifunction devices are sold in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as the Middle East, Europe, India, Mexico, and South Africa. With the signing of this new distributor agreement, sales in the U.S. will commence. The “Revoria Press” series of production printers for commercial printing, as well as the “ApeosPro” series for DTP (Desk Top Publishing), have already been sold in Europe, North America, the Middle East, India, Mexico, and Egypt through Fujifilm’s sales channels. In the U.S., sales have already started through Fujifilm North America Corporation, a subsidiary of Fujifilm. The partnership with a major local distributor will further strengthen sales capabilities in the U.S. market.

The products to be sold through this distributor include seven models from the A3 and A4 compatible “Apeos” series of digital color multifunction devices and four models from the “Revoria Press” series of production printers. The “Apeos” series contributes to environmental sustainability by reducing power consumption during toner fusing, thanks to its adoption of Super EA-Eco toner, which has low-temperature fusing properties. Additionally, the devices feature robust security functions, enhancing the quality of customers’ business operations. The “Revoria Press” series for commercial printing, including the “Revoria Press PC1120,” which supports both standard CMYK four-color printing and special two-color toner printing, offers high image quality and productivity, driving the global production printing market in regions such as Europe, the U.S., and Asia-Pacific.
