Long Island Business News reported that Canon Solutions America will merge into Canon USA on January 1. What does this mean for Canon USA (CUSA) and Canon Solutions America (CSA)? Not much from what we can tell. .

In the past, CSA had two main functions; they were the production print arm of Canon USA and they were the direct sales operation. From what we can tell, these groups will become part of CUSA and all products and personnel will be under “one roof.” If Can0n’s plan is to streamline and gain efficiency, it would seem that this move should accomplish that goal.
