SCHAUMBURG, IL, Issued July 19, 2021… Pulse Technology (http://pulsetechnology.com), a technology company serving the IT, Managed Print Services and other needs of businesses throughout the Midwest and beyond, has named Bartlett, IL native Shannon Gomez to the position of Business Development Executive.
In this role, she will focus on bringing new business to the growing, four-location company and work with the sales team to support the needs of both new and existing clients.
Prior to joining Pulse, she was a digital marketing executive for PureRED, with a Greater Chicago territory. She served as primary client contact for day-to-day project management, implementing client brand marketing strategies and being responsible for digital advertising and marketing collateral.
Before that, she was client strategy manager for the Elmhurst, IL based SLANT, Inc., an agency that handled a variety of promotional marketing strategies, in addition to website development and IT services.
She studied journalism at a local college prior to her work in digital marketing.
Outside of the workplace, she volunteers at the Elgin Senior Services Associates. In particular, over the past year, she spent time with the organization checking in with senior citizens to see how they were doing during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as assisting with food deliveries.
She and her husband John are parents to six children, and she said that she especially enjoys cooking.
