In a recent episode of the What’s Happenin’ podcast hosted by Andy Slawetsky, Epson’s Vice President, Mark Mathews discussed their newest additions to their lineup of color copiers. During the interview, Mathews recalled the success of their dealer meeting held in Southern California where their new series of inkjet copiers was unveiled. This addition to the lineup is designed to advance the company’s inkjet business, boasting an array of products that range from sub-20 to 100 pages per minute inkjet color engines.

Mathews further elaborated on the bold move Epson made in entering the copier market, traditionally dominated by laser copiers, with their unique inkjet copiers. Utilizing Epson’s PrecisionCore technology, the inkjet copiers offer reliability, lower total cost of ownership and better profit margins for resellers. Mathews highlighted that the absence of heat in the printing process makes their copiers more reliable than laser products, catching the attention of dealers who have been in the laser printing business for years. Moreover, he mentioned Epson’s strong A3 MFP lineup offering advanced features like cloud connectivity, mobile printing and secure printing, thereby catering to the evolving needs of the modern workplace. FYI, they’re still looking for dealers.
