Following the success in Johannesburg, South Africa, Comexposium Recycling Times (C-RT), the organizer of the RT VIP Imaging Expo, has brought dozens of exhibitors to Addis Ababa.
Scores of buyers and distributors of printers, copiers, and imaging supplies from numerous local companies have visited top exhibitors at Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This number had capped the figure last year, demonstrating organizer’s effort to research market data and introduce suppliers to new buyers as they had been promised.
On the buyers’ side, they were also extremely thrilled to engage with so many Chinese suppliers and amazed by the high quality of their products. For years, these local distributors have been purchasing from various countries and regions worldwide but missing China, and from today on, many of them will consider establishing permanent connections with the exhibitors they just met.
According to Mahlet Teklamariam, owner of Clairvoyant Marketing Agency and also local supporter of the event, Ethiopia is an emerging market that is creating increasing demand for office solutions, driven by economic growth, expanding businesses, and educational institutions. This is unlike the mature markets of North America and Western Europe, where the demand for similar supplies has flattened and is in decline.
During the expo, all buyers were also recommended the RemaxWorld Expo in Zhuhai in October, another exhibition of greater scale by C-RT, and two lucky customers were selected at the lucky draw and won free accommodation for the span of the three-day expo.
The VIP expo at the second destination strengthened exhibitors’ confidence, who can’t wait to arrive at the last stop: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
