IBPI held their annual meeting in Orlando FL at the Disney Yacht Club March 29 – 31.
The event unofficially began Tuesday evening with a board dinner at a local steak house followed by Wednesday meetings.
That evening, members convened on the boardwalk for the opening event.
What a perfect night; great weather, food and drink, Tampa Bay Bucs Punter Bradley Pinion was there letting people try on his Super Bowl ring thanks to Arlington (he’s the nephew of Larry Huneycutt).
And then Mark Grice of IBPI took the stage and handed out nearly $1 million in rebate checks that members earned in 2021 by being members. The group collectively purchased over $70 million from IBPI vendor partners in 2021.
All this group of dealers did was buy from companies everyone buys from, only they bought it at the lowest prices and got a rebate to boot. If you’re not a member, it’s worth looking into it. There were some big checks floating around that party!
Thursday was the first full day and about 90 attendees spent most of it speed dating and meeting the conference sponsors.
