The Portland Trail Blazers and Pacific Office Automation have expanded their partnership to offer complimentary electric vehicle (EV) charging within the parking garages on the Rose Quarter campus. Sustainability and the journey to zero waste are key commitments for both organizations and this innovative partnership will allow more fans to join in those efforts.
Encouraging Sustainable Transportation
POA has installed EV charging stations for Blazer fans and staff using their Terra Energy products. This helps to reduce transportation-related emissions and encourages the use of more sustainable modes of transportation. Complimentary charging is currently available in the Annex (two charging stations), Garden Garage (eight stations), West Garage (seven stations) and East Garage (11 stations) for guests that have paid to park. Each station is first come, first serve and chargers will charge approximately 15-20 miles of range per hour. The Level 2 Chargers feature a standard J1772™ Plug that is compatible with most electric of plug-in hybrid vehicles – Tesla drivers will need their Tesla adapter to charge.
