Kennesaw, Ga. January 16, 2025 – OCP Custom Graphics, a fourth-generation, family-owned business based in Calgary, AB, recently celebrated its 70th anniversary. To mark this notable milestone, the company upgraded its operations with the installation of a new Suprasetter CtP from HEIDELBERG. This latest addition reinforces OCP’s ongoing commitment to producing high-quality products for its customers by consistently investing in the latest technology.

Started in 1953 as Oil City Press, OCP Custom Graphics has been owned and operated by the Kletke family for nearly its entire history. The company has maintained impressive longevity amid continuous change in the print industry through multiple facility expansions, relocations, and investments in new technologies. Nearly two decades ago, OCP made its first investment in HEIDELBERG Speedmaster technology. While offset printing remains the backbone of its business today, OCP has expanded into new markets including digital and wide-format services and in-house vehicle wrapping, prompting its recent rebrand from Oil City Press to OCP Custom Graphics to better reflect its capabilities.

“We’re always looking to stay on top of the latest industry trends,” said Vice President, Pam Kletke. “Our diverse product offering allows us to efficiently handle all projects – no matter the size – completely in-house from conception to completion.”

To uphold the high quality that has sustained its business for over seventy years, OCP recently replaced its aging, albeit reliable first generation Suprasetter CtP from HEIDELBERG with the new Suprasetter A75. Known for being the most space-saving CtP in its class, the Suprasetter’s compact design maximizes valuable space in OCP’s prepress area. Additionally, the new Suprasetter, integrated with the company’s Prinect workflow, processes plates faster and has enhanced automation features compared to its older machine – further boosting the company’s efficient operation.

“The reliability of our HEIDELBERG platesetters is unmatched,” said Kletke. “Our newest Suprasetter has helped our overall productivity while improving quality. It has been a game-changer in helping us consistently deliver the exceptional products we are committed to providing our customers.”

A long time HEIDELBERG customer, OCP currently boasts multiple small format Speedmaster and Printmaster presses in addition to Stahlfolders, POLAR cutters, and stitchers. According to Kletke, “Our long-standing history with HEIDELBERG reflects our commitment to quality and reliability throughout the years. HEIDELBERG has been a trusted partner in our growth, providing us with industry-leading equipment and software.” Additionally, the company continues to be impressed by HEIDELBERG’s superior level of customer service – from installation and training to repair to technical support.

“HEIDELBERG’s reputation for innovation and robust support has made it a natural choice for our business,” said Kletke. “They are honestly one of the best suppliers to work with, especially when it comes to their level of service.”
